The Representative of the Holy Spirit

In the Realms of Illumined Truth there is the Office of the Maha Chohan. This Office extends also to individuals on Earth. Lord Maha means Great Lord. He supervises the Seven Chohans - Lords of the Seven Rays.

The position of Maha Chohan operates primarily on the Third Ray, the Ray of Divine Love and Harmony. The One who holds this position in hierarchy represents the Holy Spirit of the Father-Mother God, of Alpha and Omega to all evolving on Earth, the Powers of Nature and the Elemental Beings of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The Maha Chohan's Retreat, known as the Temple of Comfort, is located in the etheric realm with a physical focus on earth at the Island of Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon), where the Flame of the Holy Spirit and the Comfort Flame are anchored. The Maha Chohan's Twin Flame is Pallas Athena, Goddess of Truth.

Maha Chohan is a Third Ray - Divine Love Activity. It has been the Activity through which the Godhead worked on the Rays from the Third through the Seventh. This Activity however, has been changed - more than fifty years ago, and then First and Second Rays now also come under the Maha Chohan.

A Maha Chohan represents the Holy Spirit (which consists of all of the qualities of the Father-Mother God) to the Planet. The Holy Spirit represents Light and Action and vitalizes whatever Ray is in Action. The Maha Chohan is the Director of the Activity of the Holy Spirit for the Earth which helps in the development of the Divine feelings in humanity.
